Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Product Manager on the Loyalty & Rewards Team as part of Cards & Merchant Services (CMS). This role will play a critical part in shaping strategic decisions across the Card organization, with an emphasis on modernizing cash redemption capabilities and improving transparency in product delivery. In this role, you will:
Analyze customer and market data to identify and prioritize reward redemption expansion opportunities, with emphasis on cash redemption features
Support rationalization of current cash redemption options to identify simplification and expansion opportunities
Lead initiatives that optimize and expand cash redemption options, ensuring a seamless experience for customers while aligning with overall loyalty strategy
Advise experienced leadership to develop or influence business plans, business requirements, direct product design and implementation for complex business and technical needs
Oversee overall product management and strategic focus for the most technical, complex and diverse products and services
Lead the strategy and resolution of complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth understanding of potential synergies, opportunities companywide
Deliver solutions that are long-term, large scale, and require consideration of global market dynamics, trends, regulatory impact, and risk management
Provide vision, direction, and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are strategically focused for diverse product lines
Articulate product vision, define scope, prioritize backlog, establish goals, and provide direction for teams to design, develop, and deliver technology and processes for updating, upgrading technologies and vendor relationships
Engage with leaders, stakeholders, subject matter experts, scrum masters, project managers and delivery team companywide
Serve as an adept advisor to leadership
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Proven product management experience, focusing on identifying opportunities, driving stakeholder alignment, and achieving results-driven goals
Experience in banking or financial services, prior employment experience with a credit card issuer is preferred
Prior experience with credit card loyalty, rewards, or card platforms
Understanding of credit card rewards lifecycle, including earning, burning, and redemption economics
Experience translating strategic ideas into actionable plans, including writing user stories and managing backlogs in JIRA
Proven ability to develop and present data-driven strategic recommendations to executive leadership and gain buy-in for new initiatives
Proven ability to advise senior leadership and influence business plans, requirements, and product design for complex technical and business needs
Experience conducting competitive analysis, market research, and benchmarking to inform product strategy and vision
Proven ability to explore and evaluate emerging payment and redemption options, and translate market trends into actionable product recommendations
Exceptional communication skills with ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences and create compelling executive-level presentations
Familiar with fraud prevention strategies and operational controls, especially in a high-risk industry and market
Strong analytical skills with experience in synthesizing data to inform decisions
