We are in the process of an expansion in the form of a new warehouse located on 40th street, on top of our main warehouse located on John F Donnelly Drive near Quincy Street and our second on 8th street. We prioritize our customer orders and want to ensure we may store parts in a safe, efficient and orderly manner through these 3 warehouse locations.

CDL Driver - Local 

 

 

Job Description

With the expansion of a new warehouse located on 40th street, including our main warehouse on John F Donnelly Dr near Quincy Street and our second on 8th street, it is essential for productivity and efficiency to have a CDL driver driving and delivery parts to and from our different locations.When delivering parts to each location, it is expected for this position to aid in the process of unloading truck and storing parts in their designated racks.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Frequently travel between 3 warehouse locations within Holland area
• Willing to unload or designate one of the receiving employees to unload trucks/containers
• Make sure everything gets unloaded and checked into inventory in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, miles driven and other required activities
• Follow all traffic laws and represent Big Dutchman in a respectful and lawful manner on the road
• Primary functions of the role will be to transport parts between our different warehouse locations, and when needed will be expected to work in the warehouse to pick/pull/place product

 

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Computer experience
• Must have experience with operation of a forklift
• CDL is required
• Familiarity with electronic scanning for orders is preferred, but not necessary
• Able to lift, pull, push, or carry up to 50 pounds frequently
