Lead Person Warehouse Chattanooga TN

Responsible for ensuring the smooth running of warehouse operations.  This includes managing and coordinating daily warehouse operations and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.  Duties to include, but not limited to:

• Responsible for directing and assisting with order pulling and loading ensuring its completion in a safe, accurate and timely manner.
• Responsible for proper inventory maintenance and replenishment.       
• Responsible for directing and assisting employees in keeping the warehouse clean and organized.
• Assist in opening and/or closing the facility as needed.
• Assist in the delivery of product when needed.
• Assist in the monthly warehouse inventories.
• Assist with Driver Check In and Returns Process daily.
• Responsible for accurately recording warehouse breakage / spoilage and subsequent adjustments.
• Other duties as assigned.
• 1-year supervisory experience preferred.
• 1 year Warehouse experience preferred.
• Previous delivery experience preferred.
• Must be able to operate a forklift and obtain/maintain certification
• Must have and be able to maintain a valid drivers license with Class F Endorsement
• Must have and be able to maintain a valid D.O.T. Medical Card.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively.
• Must be able to communicate with people effectively.
• Must have basic mathematical skills and be able to operate a calculator.
• Must be able to pass background check (i.e. police backgrounds, reference checks…).
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record:
• Cannot have more than (2): moving violations and/or at-fault vehicle accidents (any combination in last (3) years. (for speeding, violation must be under 16mph)
• Cannot have more than one (1): speeding violation of 16-29mph OR at-fault accident in the past three (3) years.
• Cannot have a major violation such as: DUI/DWI, hit-and-run, reckless driving, and or super speeder (29+mph) violation in the past five (5) years.
