The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services Process and Systems Transformation (PST) Team:

RTX has an opening for an Operations Engineer - ITMS Frameworks/ITIL (Infrastructure/Service Management) (Manager, Information Workplace Services) position.

• Support our large‑scale S/4HANA landscape and its supporting applications
• Focus on sustaining day‑to‑day IT operations through ServiceNow and ITSM practices
• Manage relationships with Managed Service Providers (MSPs)
• Support the stability and governance of our Azure‑based infrastructure
• Drive operational excellence by maintaining documentation, ensuring strong vendor performance, and supporting reliable, well‑governed services across hybrid environments.

What You Will Do:

• Support the sustainment of large‑scale S/4HANA environments and supporting applications in partnership with MSPs or RISE with SAP providers.
• Sustain IT operations using ServiceNow and ITSM practices, ensuring smooth service delivery and governance
• Own vendor relationships, tracking SLAs, KPIs, and driving accountability across managed service providers
• Develop and maintain documentation of system processes, procedures, and IT governance standards
• Strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM), including Active Directory and Azure AD

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Minimum of 8+ years’ experience with ServiceNow and IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree
• IT Operations experience, overseeing infrastructure, service management
• Vendor management experience, with a proven track record of holding third‑party providers accountable
• Oversee Azure cloud environments and IT operations, with a focus on governance, vendor management, and resilience

Qualifications Preferred:

• Experience supporting SAP or SAP S/4HANA environments
• Familiarity with Active Directory and identity/access management (IAM)
• Understanding of basic networking fundamentals (routing, firewalls, authentication).
