The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services Process and Systems Transformation (PST) Team:
RTX has an opening for an Operations Engineer - ITMS Frameworks/ITIL (Infrastructure/Service Management) (Manager, Information Workplace Services) position.

- Support our large‑scale S/4HANA landscape and its supporting applications
- Focus on sustaining day‑to‑day IT operations through ServiceNow and ITSM practices
- Manage relationships with Managed Service Providers (MSPs)
- Support the stability and governance of our Azure‑based infrastructure
- Drive operational excellence by maintaining documentation, ensuring strong vendor performance, and supporting reliable, well‑governed services across hybrid environments.
What You Will Do:
- Support the sustainment of large‑scale S/4HANA environments and supporting applications in partnership with MSPs or RISE with SAP providers.
- Sustain IT operations using ServiceNow and ITSM practices, ensuring smooth service delivery and governance
- Own vendor relationships, tracking SLAs, KPIs, and driving accountability across managed service providers
- Develop and maintain documentation of system processes, procedures, and IT governance standards
- Strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM), including Active Directory and Azure AD
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Minimum of 8+ years’ experience with ServiceNow and IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree
- IT Operations experience, overseeing infrastructure, service management
- Vendor management experience, with a proven track record of holding third‑party providers accountable
- Oversee Azure cloud environments and IT operations, with a focus on governance, vendor management, and resilience
Qualifications Preferred:
- Experience supporting SAP or SAP S/4HANA environments
- Familiarity with Active Directory and identity/access management (IAM)
- Understanding of basic networking fundamentals (routing, firewalls, authentication).
