The Business Systems Product Owner (Professional 2) maximizes value of product created by the Agile team. Liaises with stakeholders and the development team ensuring the right product is being built, in the right order, within budget and by the deadline. Serves as the Agile team's primary contact for information, work prioritization, and decision-making. This individual modifies systems and processes to solve complex problems considering computer equipment limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. This individual validates benefits achieved from solution implementation.
Specific day-to-day work activities will include (but are not limited to):
- Collaborates with Business Operations, IT, Resolution Team Application Vendor, Testing Team, etc. to resolve system defects and implement system enhancements
- Documentation of System Requirements / User Stories to support Requested System Enhancements
- Completes System Configuration assigned within delivery timeframe without defects
- Processes System Access / User Provisioning Requests
- Maintains System Runbook - Create/manage the “Runbook” for Medicare, Medicare Supplement, Medicaid, Commercial, and Specialty system enhancements
- Follows Agile Methodology for prioritization and completion of assignments

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years' experience writing system requirements or 2+ years' experience developing processes
- Experience working in an Agile environment, using Agile Development Methodologies
- Experience with Microsoft office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in problem analysis and process
- Problem solving and consultation within complex environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in system configuration
- Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle
- Working knowledge of Azure Dev Ops, JIRA and Qtest
- Experience with process documentation
- Product Owner Training / Certification
Additional Information
You must be authorized to work in the US without Humana sponsorship as Humana does not provider work visa sponsorship for this role.
Schedule:
- Standard Monday through Friday 8 am - 5 pm Eastern Time Zone
- Must be available to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Must be available to cover an overnight or weekend 10-12 hour shift up to 12 times annually (support system release schedule)

- To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:
- At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended to support Humana applications, per associate.
- Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL connection is suggested.
- Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if they provide an optimal connection for associates. The use of these methods must be approved by leadership. (See Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL Connection in Exceptions, Section 7.0 in this policy.)
- Humana will not pay for or reimburse Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates for any portion of the cost of their self-provided internet service, with the exception of associates who live or work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota. Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
- Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
- Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
