We are looking for a guide and strategic marketer with a deep understanding of executives and a dedication for engaging with this community as we build partnerships within Salesforce organizations. The Manager, Field Marketing - Field Events role conducts the execution and oversight of executive-level program conceptualization, management, analysis, tracking, and reporting for strategic marketing initiatives with an emphasis on VP+ level events for the AMER business.Responsibilities:- Act as a strategic marketing liaison to Sales, including the representation and strategic positioning of key field events, marketing programs, third-party conferences and partner marketing activities
- Act as an authority in – and advocate for – the VP+/Business decision maker audience; you develop vision and market strategy for executive events
- Deliver campaign results and programs to EVPs, SVPs and AVPs to generate and progress pipeline as well as accelerate close of business
- Drive virtual, regional and national campaigns to build engagement in executive program events and post-event lead development
- Evaluate, measure and report on strategic efficiency and return on investment for program efforts bringing to bear Salesforce campaigns and dashboards
- Work on multiple, simultaneous marketing programs that require both critical thinking as well as high-speed tactical execution
- Assist the Market Director in development of quarterly marketing strategy in support of company and Sales business objectives
- Lead cross-functional programming efforts with extended teams: Industry, Clouds, Alliances, and Marketing partners
- Bachelor level degree or equivalent experience, preferably with a Marketing, Communications or Business emphasis
- 4-6 years of high-tech sales or marketing experience, preferably in a field sales facing role
- 6+ years of in-person, executive level event marketing experience preferred
- Salesforce or other CRM application experience
- Travel required
- Domain. Executive audience expertise and strong event oversight and leadership. You have the ability to develop and deliver outstanding field events within a very high velocity, shifting environment.
- Adaptable. Highly motivated, self-starter, and think through problems to formulate innovative solutions. Ability to work independently against timelines within a fast-paced, changing environment whilst keeping a sharp eye on detail and accuracy.
- Customer-centric. Profound understanding of our customers, their needs, and the context in which they work.
- Data-Driven. Curiosity for data and understanding of basic analytical and statistical techniques.

- Strong Communication and Presentation Skills. Partner with team members at varying levels (including executive leadership), conceptually and tactically. Excellent ability to connect through writing, presentations, and storytelling.
- Agency Partner. Experience working with external vendors and marketing agencies.
