We are seeking an experienced Global Learning & Development leader to join our dynamic team and drive our people’s growth and development on a global scale. Responsibilities:
- Learning & Development:
- Develop and implement global learning strategies and programs that align with organizational growth and transformation goals in the short, medium, and long term.
- Foster a culture of continuous skill building in learning, instilling a growth mindset in all employees, so they can see value in learning.
- Work with agency leadership and play a pivotal role in turning Edelman into the AI-enabled global communications leader by equipping our employees with the AI skills and knowledge critical for success and advancement.
- Oversee the development of horizontal and vertical learning agendas, designed for both all agency staff and specific staff cohorts.
- Drive innovation in the design and implementation of different learning environments and curriculum staff.
- Work closely with People Partners, DEIB, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Management teams, to integrate career development initiatives affecting our employee’s development, succession planning, career building, assessment, coaching, and critical skills and behaviors.
- Manage a global team to design and deliver global leadership development programs, global onboarding, technical training, and other learning methodologies for employees across all levels and regions.
- Evaluate the impact of learning programs through metrics and insights to continuously improve offerings.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and tools to deliver multi-modal instruction and manage the external network of vendors and consultants to bring in expertise as required.
- Prepare and manage the L&D budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

- Collaborate with other senior executives to implement programs to enhance the performance of employee networking groups such as women in the workplace, DEIB, and the LGBTQ+ community.
- Change Leadership:
- Facilitate significant change efforts as needed by senior leadership. Provide leaders responsible for leading change efforts with change leadership/management frameworks and best practices to increase accountability and success
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Education, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in instructional design – at least 15 years in global learning initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong cultural awareness; global mindset; with experience in the integrated marketing communications industry or other closely related creative industries.
- Success in managing large-scale global learning programs and initiatives; including knowledge and experience with enterprise-wide Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Highly analytical with skills to evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs.
- Strong business acumen; emotional intelligence; executive presence
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders - at all levels.
- Ability to collaborate with People/HR team members, recruiting, onboarding, talent management, succession planning, benefits & compensation, payroll, and offboarding.
