Description
The Accounting & Billing Manager is responsible for the management and reporting of the financial data of an organization. You will collaborate with the Director of Finance as well as other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and the timely processing of the accounting and revenue cycle. The Accounting & Billing Manager will play a vital role in driving the company’s financial success and growth.
Essential Functions
· Review accounting for the IOLTA trust accounts and advanced client costs.
· Review all Client expenses posted in Clio and QB, along with reviewing all the backup in the client’s files for invoicing.
· General accounting duties such as bank and account reconciliations, month-end/year-end close, and managing incoming & outgoing wire requests.
· Implement efficient systems and tools to enhance accuracy, productivity, and data integrity.
· Research and respond to billing inquiries regarding billing questions and problems.
· Perform account and general ledger reconciliations.
· Provide insight into monthly billing performance and serve as a point of contact for billing questions.
· Respond to and resolve billing inquiries from attorneys and management team.
· Communicate situations as they arise that may require follow-up, such as delays in billing, rate issues, etc.
· Identify and provide training opportunities to enhance the team’s skills and knowledge.
· All other duties assigned.
Requirements

· Previous experience in law firms or other service industry preferred.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office.
· Proficient with accounting and billing software.
Required Education and experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required.
· At least three to five years of related experience is required.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities over individuals. This position does have supervisory responsibility over the processes and procedures established by the Finance Committee.
Travel required
Occasional travel to business locations
