Are you looking to make a big impact as part of a corporate communications team? Are you passionate about applying your skills and intelligence to real-world challenges? We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable social media specialist to join our in-house global comms team.
About the Role:
In this role you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies to drive corporate messaging goals and improve social engagement across various channels. The chosen candidate will possess exceptional copywriting skills and the ability to analyze social media metrics to make data-informed decisions. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is highly organized, resourceful, and able to work effectively with stakeholders.
In this role, you will implement communication tactics across social media including LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and emerging platforms. Our ideal candidate will have strong written communication skills, experience in social media management, email campaigns, graphic design as well as a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities include:
Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies that align with overall messaging goals;
Conceptualize creative and effective social media campaigns that drive brand awareness and increase engagement;
Monitor, analyze, and report on social media metrics to inform future strategies and improve performance;
Create and post engaging content across various social media platforms, including Facebook, X, and Instagram;
Stay up-to-date with emerging social media trends and tools;
Collaborate with other teams to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels;
Produce and edit visuals for use on internal and external digital channels, using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite; and
Other duties as assigned.
What you can bring to this role:
Bachelors’ degree in communications, journalism, or related field;
Two years of demonstrated experience managing social media accounts across various platforms;
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
Exceptional copywriting skills and a keen attention to detail;
Familiarity with social media advertising and analytics tools;
Creative mindset and ability to generate innovative ideas;
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Strong organizational and time-management abilities; and
Experience using social media management systems
