Project Manager

We currently have a vacancy for a Project Manager fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks

• Give proposal for project strategies, planning, definition of tasks and deliverables, review of project deliverables, quality control, risk analysis and management, status reports, problems reporting and management systems, follow up and organization;
• Guide the technical team in charge of project activities and review their deliverables and participate in functional working groups and progress meetings;
• Estimate costs, timescales, and resource requirements for the successful completion of each project to agreed terms of reference;
• Analysis of Business requirements and perform technical checks in the data by writing SQL queries and executing scripts in PL/SQL;
• Prepare and maintain project and quality plans and tracks activities against the plan, provide regular and accurate reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or relevant discipline combined with minimum 9 years of relevant experience;
• At least 3 years of specific expertise in Project Management Standards and methodologies;
• At least 3 years of experience in Agile Methodologies, Scrum Management, Lean agile;
• At least 2 years of experience in Service Management and in relational databases;
• Good knowledge of analysis/modelling tools and techniques (use case diagram, state diagram, entity relationship model, interaction diagrams etc.);
• Good knowledge of Wiki and collaborative sites and knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g. RUP, Agile);
• Certification in one of the following: Project Management Professional (PMP),PRINCE2 Foundation or PM;
• Excellent command of the English language.
