POSITION SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of material control in support of manufacturing operations at Raleigh Manufacturing Site. This includes receiving, material handling, inventory control and shipping.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Performs all activities associated with the physical receipt of incoming materials including incoming paperwork verification / reconciliation, inspection for incoming damage, transferring materials to plastic skids, delivery / storage of materials in designated inventory locations with proper storage environment, etc
- Receives product from the Manufacturing department and verifies material tag is present.
- Performs all necessary ERP / Inventory System transactions required to document accurate and timely receipt, identification, issuance, transfer, destruction and return of material (PO receipt, materials issued to production work orders, materials requested via Material Requisition Forms, inventory location transfers, materials returned to inventory, label generation, etc.)
- Picks requested materials on Sample Request Forms and performs the necessary ERP system transactions to deduct the sample quantities removed
- Verifies material quantities for labeling returns from manufacturing and incoming counts from the vendors
- Coordinates with the QC Department to ensure materials are released for production use.
- Responsible for performing regular cycle counts on all material located in the warehouse as defined by appropriate procedures
- Operates forklift and other material handling equipment as necessary to transport material. Perform normal routine maintenance / complete equipment checklists as required to ensure equipment is in good working condition. Abides by all rules and regulations to ensure safe operation.
- Cleans, maintains and ensures proper housekeeping in the warehouse areas to meet or exceed cGMP requirements
- Performs all necessary shipping functions in support of manufacturing operations (e.g. samples for testing, semi-finished product for packaging, etc.) including temperature-sensitive shipments.
- Performs all duties by following established SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) and complies with all cGMP requirements, including documentation procedures
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Ensure processes and products are in compliance with all local, state, and federal rules and regulations. Oversee that processes are in CGMP compliance, and establish systems that identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change to improve process effectiveness to heighten quality. Develop knowledge of and understand regulatory requirements such as 21CFR Parts 210 and 211, cGMP’s, FDA, OSHA and other regulatory agencies
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate Degree (or equivalent experience)
- Must be forklift certified (stand up and sit-down lift is preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years forklift experience required
- Prior experience with SAP or inventory control system required
