Perform experiments using a variety of techniques. The position requires assisting the principal investigator with experiments at the bench.Job Description
Job Responsibilities
· Perform molecular biology, cell culture, and biochemical techniques such as molecular cloning, DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, sequencing, flow cytometry, single-cell sorting, immunostaining, Western blotting, and fluorescent and confocal microscopy.
· Assist with animal studies (e.g., mouse handling, tissue collection and dissection, mouse surgeries, and histological analysis) as required by the research program.
· Maintain accurate and detailed experimental records, organize data, and analyze and present data.
· Ensure proper operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment and adherence to safety protocols.
· Contribute to laboratory organization, including maintaining inventory.
· Participate in lab meetings and collaborate with other team members to advance research goals.

Qualifications
- Knowledge of coding, image analysis, or data science approaches (e.g., Python, MATLAB, ImageJ/Fiji, or related platforms) is preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor of Science and 0 to 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
