Job Description
The Campus Manager is an integral representative of La Scuola and serves as the frontline manager for the campus. The Campus Manager oversees, coordinates, organizes and performs the day-to-day administrative, logistical and operational functions of the campus. The individual serves as liaison between faculty, staff, children, parents and the community. In collaboration with the Leadership Team the Campus Manager ensures compliance with all of California Childcare Licensing and State Laws, Title 22 regulations, city fire code, and other safety/security regulations.
Duties will be generally in the area of managing the administrative office and front desk, including helping in student drop-off, pick-up, and breaks when needed, supporting the Early Childhood Director, COO as needed, overseeing basic scheduling, hiring and administration functions, meeting licensing and facilities needs of the Silicon Valley Campus. Individual collaborates closely with the Director of Facilities to ensure construction and renovation timelines are met in a timely manner. Other duties as may be assigned by the Early Childhood Director or COO as needed.
Individual effectively communicates in oral and written form, establishes and maintains a variety of complex, privileged and sensitive files and records and establishes and maintains cooperative working relationships with contractors, vendors, government regulators and others. This individual is the primary contact for the Palo Alto campus and fields inquiries to the appropriate department/person as needed.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversees, coordinates, organizes and performs the day-to-day functions needed for the smooth operations of the campus and school office; provides leadership at school administrative activities in the absence of a Leadership Team member.
- Coordinates with staffing / subbing agencies to ensure campus is staffed, works with faculty to ensure appropriate coverage in each class and steps in if necessary
- Supports student enrollment process in collaboration with Admissions team; assists parents with proper completion of forms if needed; orients new families and students to the school when needed
- Works with Director of Facilities to ensure timelines are met and site facilities are maintained and improved.
- Works closely with facilities assistants on site to ensure site is well maintained and meets high expectations for staff and families.
- Assist in managing the on-site food program (including communications and tracking of allergies and dietary restrictions).
- Pursues Early Childhood Education classes to acquire site supervisor permit, a licensing requirement
- Manages event flow and preparation, supervises/delegates arrangements for major school events, including, but not limited to: scheduling/notifying staff and community of events, making arrangements for refreshments and/or catering, completing set-up and clean-up or ensuring it is arranged, overseeing parent volunteers in relation to events, preparing materials with the support of other members of the administration
- Prepares materials for a variety of meetings (staff, committees, etc.), schedules appointments
- Maintains and updates office files including student records and family rosters; enters, maintains and updates data in a variety of databases; runs reports as needed
