Position Description

Schumacher Automotive Group in North Palm Beach is seeking a Full-Time Lease Return Specialist! Are you a Car Rental or Lease Return Pro? Do you have a vision for creating positive experiences with clients? The Lease Return Specialist is responsible for ensuring a positive and seamless experience for customers that are returning their leased vehicles to Schumacher Auto Group. 

Essential Job Responsibilities 

• Conduct thorough inspections of returned lease vehicles, documenting any wear and tear within established guidelines.
• Utilize dealership management software and other relevant tools to track and manage lease return processes efficiently.
• Coordinate with finance and administrative teams to process necessary documentation for lease terminations.
• Collaborate with the service and maintenance teams to assess and address any required repairs or reconditioning.
• Ensure all required lease return paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently document condition, inspection and status of the vehicle.
• Educate customers on lease-end options, including lease extension, vehicle purchase, or selecting a new lease vehicle.
• Provide information on available promotions and incentives to encourage customer loyalty.
• Address and resolve any concerns or disputes related to lease returns in a professional and customer-focused manner.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to find timely solutions to customer issues.

Requirements

• 1+ year previous experience in high volume automotive leasing.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to conduct accurate vehicle inspections.
• Proven and demonstrable knowledge of lease-end processes and required documentation.
• Familiarity with dealership management software or rental management software. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically in Excel.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset. 
• Must be available to work Weekdays and some Saturdays

A valid driver's license. All applicants must pass pre-employment testing to qualify for employment. Pre-Employment testing includes a successful background check and drug testing.

Education/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1+ year previous experience in high volume automotive leasing required
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel required
