Here, you will tackle today’s toughest challenges with a future-focused mindset; so our clients turn to us first when it matters most.  </p><p></p><p><b>Make a real impact </b></p><p></p><p>In this dynamic environment, we are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Senior Associate to join our Research team, based in Athens. </p><ul><li>Develop and execute advanced econometric and macroeconomic analyses </li><li>Conduct comprehensive industry and company analyses, identifying emerging trends, risks, and opportunities for senior stakeholders </li><li>Integrate, model, and interpret complex financial datasets </li><li>Synthesise and communicate analytical findings through high-impact technical reports, executive summaries, and sector presentations, tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences </li><li>Ensure the highest standards of accuracy, clarity, and relevance in all deliverables, consistently exceeding expectations for quality and analytical rigor </li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally to translate complex research outcomes into actionable recommendations and innovative solutions </li></ul><p></p><p><b>What you bring matters </b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Economics or a quantitative discipline, with a proven record of excellence from a Greek or international university </li><li>Advanced degree (MSc/MA/PhD) in Economics, Political Science, Applied Economics, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on quantitative and analytical coursework </li><li>Three (3) to five (5) years of hands-on experience in economic research, consulting, including the design and execution of complex research projects and econometric modeling </li><li>Track record of publishing research or contributing to thought leadership through articles, presentations, or sectoral analysis, demonstrating strong written communication and storytelling skills </li><li>Expertise in econometric software (e.g., Stata, R, Python, SAS, SPSS, EViews), with a demonstrated ability to build, validate, and interpret advanced models. </li><li>Exceptional data analysis skills: adept at extracting, cleaning, and synthesising large datasets; applying rigorous quantitative methods; and translating findings into actionable insights. </li><li>Proven ability to communicate complex economic concepts clearly and persuasively through technical reports and executive summaries, tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences. </li><li>Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of research, from data collection to final reporting, ensuring high-quality deliverables. </li><li>Strong project management and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs in a timely manner. </li><li>Collaborative team player with experience working in cross-functional and multicultural teams, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within PwC’s dynamic ecosystem. </li><li>Commitment to ongoing professional development, including participation in training, workshops, and industry conferences, in line with PwC’s focus on continuous learning and upskilling. </li><li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for presentation and professional document preparation </li><li>Strong verbal and writing skills in English and in Greek    </li></ul><p></p><p><b>BRING YOUR BEST, EVERYDAY </b></p><p></p><p>Your skills, integrity, and curiosity make the difference.
