This position is primarily based in a location within PNC’s footprint.
This position will be responsible for handling both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. The Accountant will work closely with internal departments to maintain financial accuracy and support business operations. This role ensures that all invoices are processed accurately and timely, maintains proper documentation, and supports month-end closing activities. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles. Intermediate Excel skills are also required.PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.
Job Description
- Provides timely and accurate financial record keeping and reporting as directed by management.
- Maintains financial records in accordance with GAAP and organizational standards.
- Creates reports on financial performance for internal and external use.
- Completes month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities including the preparation of journal entries and appropriate audit work papers, and the reconciliation of accounts for such activities. These activities may relate to bank accounting, loans and investments, deposits, and tax, including preparing the appropriate audit work papers for such activities.
- Creates and utilizes automated tools for the updating, analyzing and reporting of financial results.
