The Opportunity:
CustomBiotech provides reagents and instruments to diagnostic, pharmaceutical, biotech, and CMO/CDMO companies. Cedex is the Roche brand of bionanalyzers for cell culture analysis, research and process development, and industrial GMP production. As the Product Marketing Manager of the Cedex Instruments, you will be leading the product management and marketing activities of the Cedex instruments and reagents.
You will be collaborating with the sales and technical teams to support product availability and market demand. You will design and execute activities for product management, product launches and support, sales campaigns, market research, marketing events, and conferences. You will be responsible for activities for the North American market but will actively collaborate with your global colleagues to stay aligned on marketing activities and product supply issues.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for the assigned product lines directly or indirectly, including forecasting, pricing, supply, back-order management, launch and phase-out management.
Conduct sales team training for the assigned product line and participate in sales meetings and customer visits.
Analyze sales data to track revenue growth rates, conduct market research to identify market gaps, evaluate competitor products, and generate insights into customer needs and buying behavior.
Lead marketing activities, participate in trade shows and customer meetings and work with internal teams and external partners to develop a comprehensive marketing plan including competitive analysis and growth strategies.
Provide updates on key findings, business challenges, and opportunities to senior management and be flexible to take on additional responsibilities
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
5 years of marketing, business, sales or related business experience
Preferred Qualifications:
An ideal candidate would be from the life sciences industry with prior experience in product management at Cedex or similar instruments used in the life sciences industry.
Prior experience in B2B sales, marketing, or manufacturing in diagnostics or pharma-biotech would be preferred.
A fundamental understanding of molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, or related fields is required.
A team player with strong interpersonal skills demonstrated the effectiveness of leading in a team environment across multiple disciplines and functions and with external partners.
Have excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, and be able to make decisions independently.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis is $91,400 - $169,800. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
