We are looking for a highly motivated, and highly autonomous Architect who can operate with minimal oversight. This will be a challenge for you since we are working with really large projects!

Responsibilities:

• Develop design documents from initial feasibility and best-fit scenarios to final construction documents and construction admin on $20-100 million class A suburban multifamily projects.
• Coordinating with MEP/S/C engineers through Revit BIM model exchange platforms.
• Answer RFI’s and review submittals.
• Assist in code review and ensure code compliance during document development to meet local building, energy code, and zoning ordinances.
• Review drawings for accuracy and create red-line packages.

Requirements

• Architecture degree
• Minimum 5 years of architectural experience using REVIT as the base program in the creation of permit and construction documents (detailing, section creation, floor plan layouts in both the 2D & 3D format)
• Must understand and be able to develop and check details for construction in both floor plan and section formats. This will include a knowledge of finishes, thermal envelope design, air and vapor barrier development and placement, interior and exterior sheathing use and placement, and integration of floor and roof assemblies into the wall design.
• Interpret Building, ADA, Energy, and Zoning Codes with the ability to put together code sheets and code review packages using online code review resources.
• Understanding of drawing set development and best practices on how to achieve the goal in Revit.
• Experience with wood and metal stud design, in multifamily preferred.
• Must be able to communicate the design intent for all plan and section details around the building through proper detailing.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.

Computer Knowledge (programs will be provided to employee)

• Revit 2022
• AutoCAD 2022
