Job Summary
Execute the processing of customer orders in strict alignment with established SOP guidelines and the foundational Base Plus Standards. The processor shall address customer orders through VAS procedures as directed by the warehouse management system and requisites; inspect for damage and potential disparities between merchandise and orders.
Provide requisite assistance to other functional sectors within the warehouse as required, all while upholding an optimistic demeanor and an unwavering customer-centric focus. Ensuring the condition of all inventory items and vital business equipment remains within the scope of responsibility.
Furthermore, actively contribute to the cultivation of a sanitized and secure operational supply, thereby fostering a workspace environment characterized by its orderliness and prioritized safety considerations.
Essential Job Functions
Under direct supervision:
- Demonstrate comprehensive familiarity with the Distribution Center Key Results set forth for VF Outdoor Inc.
- Engage in the practice of Seeding - preparing packed cartons by augmenting them with necessary supplies to facilitate Value Added Services (VAS). This encompasses items such as hangers, retail stickers, and poly bags.
- Execute VAS (Value Added Service) activities as specified by customer demands. These activities encompass, yet are not confined to, tasks like affixing hangers, applying tickets, packaging in polybags, labeling, and folding products.
- Adhere diligently to the 5S guideline standards, consistently upholding a workspace characterized by systematic organization and operational efficiency. Extend support to various departments to fulfill the facility's multifaceted requirements.
- Engage in a range of general physical activities that necessitate substantial utilization of both upper and lower limbs, involving full-body movement, prolonged periods of standing, lifting, walking, stooping, and proficient handling of containers.
- Consistently adhere to established standard operating procedures, ensuring the perpetuation of reliable and uniform operational practices.
- Observe and adhere to all designated safety protocols, prioritizing the well-being of personnel and safeguarding assets.
- Remain amenable to undertaking supplementary tasks as directed by the supervisor, encompassing responsibilities such as utility work, participation in special projects, and similar assignments as required.
- Perform any other duties assigned.
