We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join Data & Analytics team at ecoATM. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data science techniques and be capable of analyzing complex datasets to derive actionable insights. You will be responsible for leading data science initiatives, developing machine learning models, and helping to shape the data-driven strategy of the company. The position will report directly into the SVP of Data & Analytics and can be based remote anywhere in the USA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Model Development & Deployment: Lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models to solve business problems across various domains, such as customer segmentation, recommendation systems, fraud detection, predictive analytics, etc.
- Data Analysis & Exploration: Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and uncover key trends, patterns, and insights from structured and unstructured datasets.
- Advanced Analytics: Utilize advanced statistical and machine learning techniques (e.g., regression, clustering, time series analysis, deep learning) to solve complex business problems and optimize processes.
- Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, marketing, etc.) to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights. Mentor and guide junior data scientists on best practices, model development, and data exploration.
- Data Engineering & Infrastructure: Collaborate with data engineers to build and optimize data pipelines, ensuring efficient data processing, storage, and retrieval.
- Data Visualization: Create clear and effective data visualizations to communicate complex results to non-technical stakeholders.
- Research & Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, and integrate new techniques and technologies into ongoing projects.
- Strategy & Impact: Contribute to strategic decision-making by transforming data insights into business recommendations and helping to drive the company’s overall data strategy.
Requirements:
Education:
A master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- At least 5-7 years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role, with a proven track record of developing and deploying machine learning models in a production environment.
- Strong experience with data manipulation, statistical analysis, and machine learning algorithms.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala.
- Strong understanding of machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
