Remote | Insurance Claims
Pay Range: $77,500-$87,500 Per Year. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure when applicable.
Are you an experienced claims professional who thrives on complex problem-solving, attention to detail, and working in a fast-paced environment? We're looking for a Senior Claims Analyst to support our Complex Claims Manager in overseeing TPA performance and handling a broad range of coverage issues across multiple lines of business.
This is a remote position with the opportunity to make a direct impact on claims strategy, auditing, and oversight in a collaborative, supportive team.
What You’ll Do:
- Partner with the Complex Claims Manager to oversee multiple Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) to ensure proper claim handling, adherence to settlement authority, and regulatory compliance.
- Review and approve coverage communications, including Reservation of Rights and declination letters.
- Analyze complex coverage issues and apply sound judgment in high-exposure or litigated matters.
- Review and evaluate large loss reports with a focus on accuracy, clarity, and timeliness.
- Anticipate legal expenses and evaluate exposure with a balanced approach to risk and resolution.
- Participate in claim audits and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5–7+ years of claims experience with a property and casualty insurer or TPA.
- Demonstrated experience managing claims and coverage issues across multiple lines of business, including:
- Commercial Auto
- Personal Auto
- Construction Defect
- Trucking
- Strong working knowledge of multi-state claims handling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills — especially when communicating complex coverage positions.
- Solid understanding of litigation processes and defense strategy; litigation experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage competing priorities with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in modern claims systems, web-based tools, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Active adjuster license in your home state; additional state licenses a plus.
