Job Description
NBCUniversal is looking for a Security Systems Specialist to join our Global Security Operations team in Universal City, California! In this role, you will be responsible for administering and optimizing security technologies while also helping to develop improvement plans and roadmaps for Global Security’s technology platforms and products.
You will work closely with the wider Global Security team to understand operational needs. They’ll use this knowledge to implement operating rhythms, enable process improvements, optimize the GSO risk and audit platform, improve data collection, and help to gather enterprise metrics across all GSO sites.
Responsibilities:
- Support Global Security with the implementation and use of the enterprise Risk and Audit software platform across all Global Security sites and users
- Create comprehensive training materials for the introduction of new features and product updates
- Assist in the training of staff on the use of our information systems for the purpose of data collection, risk assessment, audit, and the creation of analytics
- Make changes to the system or application design by interacting with the backend administrator interface.
- Act as the subject matter expert and lead for the LogicGate platform across all areas within Global Security
- Implement tools, processes, and procedures to assist in the improvement of the business intelligence capabilities of Global Security
- Work with partners to plan, implement, and continuously improve the Global Security risk and audit programs and tool sets to streamline processes and maximize effectiveness
- Regularly interact with GSO leaders to identify and develop information systems strategies and solutions to ensure support for the operational security teams and their leadership is optimized
- Assist in ensuring GSO information systems programs, projects, and initiatives are well-defined, planned, and resourced
- Provide regular visibility and support to all NBCUniversal Global Security teams utilizing the GSO information systems program, with willingness to travel to sites when needed.
- Prepare communications appropriate and easily understood by non-technical executives, including project status updates.
- Manage internal project documents, data, and the creation/maintenance of a shared workspace.
- Partner with and develop strong stakeholder relationships with various teams and their leadership - this includes Global Security teams and facilitation with non-security cross-functional teams.
- Work as the liaison with various Global Security points of contact to develop their KPIs and their internal control processes
- Help to create a long-term sustainable system support model for Global Security
Qualifications
Qualifications/Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology/Information Systems, Business Administration or equivalent work experience
- Experience in designing and managing an enterprise-wide system and data collection process
- 2+ years’ experience in project management with delivery accountability
- 2+ years’ experience with strong cross functional team leadership; must be able to articulate technical concepts and solutions to both a technical and non-technical audience
