Job Description

In order to support our bold ambitions and to build a best-in-class centralized global Finance function, we are looking to hire an experienced and highly motivated Finance and Implementation Manager who will take over the position “Anaplan Modelling Manager” for the SSU group. 

In this role you will manage our reporting and planning transformation and help us to successfully grow our business and develop sustainably.  

This role is critical to define our data strategy, enhancing our planning capabilities and implementing the required systems on a global level.  

You will work closely with our external implementation partner, project manager and partner up with the local Head of Planning & Reporting from our international business units. Furthermore, you will collaborate with the management in designing our operational and management reporting as well as the to-be planning models.

Key Roles & Responsibilities: 
 

• Leading our reporting and planning transformation project “Compass” for our Business units (Implementation of Anaplan) 
• Defining and building our group standard reporting & planning templates as well as budget models 
• Defining an SSU driver-based budget model (for Business Units and central functions) 
• Implementing existing budget templates/logics into Anaplan 
• Being the main contact for internal and external stakeholders for Anaplan, budget modelling and reporting automation 
• Focusing on business partnering and supporting SSU with the reporting and planning transformation 
• Driving automation and business insights for leveraging business solutions  
• Coordinating with the relevant finance functions e.g., Accounting, FP&A, local CFOs and finance teams on implementation of treasury related tasks or projects 
• Continuously evaluating and improving planning and reporting data 

Qualifications

• You have broad working experience (6 – 8 years) in finance and project functions 
• Strong analytical mindset, focused on quality, accuracy, and execution 
• Ability to prioritize effectively and motivated by an agile environment with its associated opportunities and challenges 
• Experience in planning and reporting systems (Anaplan, Oracle BPM) experience in BI tools (Looker, Tableau) would be a strong plus 
• Demonstrate good communication skills, with a proven ability to manage tight deadlines on various tasks in a fast-paced environment 
• Well-rounded knowledge of financial statements  
• Excel formulas – advanced level,  
• additional knowledge of vba, python, SQL or PowerBI (would be a plus) 
• (Financial) Model building experience  
• Project management from the finance side 
• Fluent in English, German as a plus 
• A “can do” attitude and initiative to take ownership and drive projects 
• Strong knowledge around retail and e-commerce business models 
• Passion for Sports and Tech is very welcomed! 
• Completed university degree (Bachelor, Master) in business administration, finance, economics or any comparable field
