Production Worker / Packaging Operator

Salary: $15-17 depending on experience

Shift: Day and Night shift available

Job Type: Full-time

Production Worker / Packaging Operator Responsibilities:

• Responsible for assisting and operating machinery in multiple production departments 
• Operate in a productive manner using the established safety guidelines and procedures.
• Move and wrap completed products.
• Will be lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for a minimum of 7 hours per day
• Communicate any moisture or material problems to Shift Lead.
• Maintain a clean workstation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Production Worker / Packaging Operator Qualifications/Education:

• Prior experience with industrial machinery and equipment is preferred
• Prior forklift and production line experience preferred.
• Will require good eye, hand, and foot coordination.
• Will need to pass the company forklift training.
• Required to read and interpret scales.
• Requires mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to adjust the weight and timing of baler and various other simple maintenance problems.
• Requires the ability to do simple math calculations.
