Since the result of your work is part of a bigger ecosystem, you need to collaborate with other teams and integrate work results.</p><p>As our Software Development Engineer you will</p><ul><li>Be part of a team, responsible for developing, monitoring and improving the quality of the software</li><li>Analyze the product requirements and translate them into specifications and architectural designs;</li><li>Support the software development life cycle and Agile development methodologies, specifically Scrum with Continuous Integration;</li><li>Develop back-end logic and modern user interfaces;</li><li>Be responsible for one or more software components;</li><li>Keep track of bugs and fix open issues;</li><li>Provide proficient documentation for the developed software modules;</li><li>Support the creation of realistic plans for the development efforts by estimating the necessary amount of work and time.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>Your profile</p><ul><li>You have a Master’s degree or equivalent combination of education and working experience in a software development</li><li>You have experience with OO analysis</li><li>You ideally have a few years of experience in at least two of the following domains/tools:</li><li>OpenGL/GStreamer</li><li>C</li><li>Python</li><li>Bash scripting</li><li>Linux (Debian)</li><li>Additional experience in network communication (TCP/UDP/…) and related security (SSL) is a plus;</li><li>You like to take initiative, work in close collaboration with fellow developers and share your ideas and knowledge;</li><li>You are communicative and assertive when required;</li><li>You are fully conversational in English.</li></ul>
