Senior Production Administrator

Position Summary:
The Senior Production Administrator (Data & Operations Analytics) supports manufacturing operations by collecting, analyzing, and reporting on production data to improve processes, efficiency, and overall performance. This role combines administrative precision with analytical insight—bridging data analysis and operational execution to drive informed decisions and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, technically skilled, and experienced in production environments.
The compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target performance incentive. This position has a target total hourly range of $27.00-$35.00. Base wages are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret production and operational data from multiple sources to identify trends, variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, databases, and data visualizations to monitor production performance, resource utilization, and workflow efficiency.
- Generate regular and ad hoc reports to support operations, project management, and leadership decision-making.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of all data by validating information against BOMs, blueprints, and ERP system inputs.
- Maintain organized and accurate records of production data, material usage, work orders, and project documentation.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, finance, and planning teams to align data reporting with business needs and operational goals.
- Identify process inefficiencies, recommend improvements, and assist in implementing automation of reporting processes for greater accessibility and timeliness.
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and scheduling activities with data-driven insights and performance analysis.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure production data accuracy and compliance with specifications.
- Provide clear and actionable insights through effective data summaries and presentations for leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Coordinate across departments to ensure timely updates and accurate reporting for work orders, schedules, and metrics.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives by leveraging data analytics to streamline operations.
- Demonstrate excellent organizational and time-management skills while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production administration, data analytics, or manufacturing operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.
- Experience with ERP systems and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Deltek Costpoint, UKG).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, manufacturing documentation, and process data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams.
- Physical ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and navigate production environments.
- Forklift certification preferred; willingness to travel up to 20% as needed.
