About the role
Tyto Athene is searching for a Cyberspace Weapon Systems SME for a multi-year contract providing Cyberspace Support Services in support of the Air Force’s 688th Cyberspace Wing (688 CW) Strategic Plans and Programs (688CW/A8).
Responsibilities:
- Provide Cyber Weapons System and capability subject matter expertise across NIPR, SIPR, JWICS, and SAP domains, supporting the development, engineering, and integration of US Government Cyberspace capability projects and efforts.
- Provide 688 CW/A8 expertise in guiding, tracking, and documenting project activities to include: collaboration, capability/system test, conformance to standards, security implementation guides, and other pertinent directives.
- Conduct analysis of operational, conceptual, functional, and strategic support plans (and) recommend viable options to develop solutions and/or courses of action to implement approved plans or actions.
- Collaborate requirements with stakeholders to enable alignment with enterprise standardization strategy.
- Lead, advise, and facilitate collaboration between mission area teams, Cyber weapon system teams, defensive and offensive cyberspace operations objectives, the Air Force Lifecycle Management Center, and appropriate Program Management Office(s) as it relates and interfaces with Cyberspace weapon systems and USAF non-kinetic operations.
- Assist in the development, distribution, and implementation of new policies, procedures, guides, and governance for 688 CW Cyberspace capabilities.
Required:
- 5 or more years of experience in Cyberspace Operations
- 3 or more years of experience in USAF Weapons & Tactics
- DoD 8570.01M IAM Level-2 Certification or higher. Minimum includes one active certification(s): CAP, CASP+CE, CISM, GSLC, CCISO, HSISPP, CISSP or CISSP.
- On site support in San Antonio, TX
- Required: High School Diploma
Desired:
- Bachelor’s Degree (technical, business, or managerial)
- USAF Weapons School Graduate
- USAF Special Technical Operations experience
Clearance:
- Active and current DoD TS/SCI eligibility
- Ability to successfully obtain SAP/SAR eligibility
Travel Required:
- Minimal, less than 10%
Compensation:
- Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $115K. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
