Building off our Cloud momentum, Oracle has formed a new organization - Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure (OHAI). OHAI is an exciting team in Oracle Cloud. This team will focus on product development and product strategy for Oracle Health, while building out a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare. You will be part of a team of smart, hands-on engineers with the expertise and passion to solve difficult problems in distributed highly available services and virtualized infrastructure. At every level, our engineers have a significant technical and business impact by designing and building innovative new systems to power our customer's business critical applications.

We are looking for an energetic, engaged and technically strong Sr Manager of Software development to lead the engineering team for development of OHAI Control Plane organization. As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 4 years of software engineering work experience.
  • Experience with one or more preferred programming languages, but not limited to: Java, C#, C++, Ruby.
  • Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to multiple stakeholders and audience types.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc)
  • Experience with project management tools (Jira, Jira Align, Version One)

US: Hiring Range: from $84,700 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
