About the role

SUMMARY:

Clinical & Trend Solutions – Product Management Director

Primarily responsible for the operations, management, and continued commercialization of EncircleRx and other affordability-related products. This position will focus both on the development of new solutions and the continued management of existing solutions which may include enhancing aspects of the solution and simplifying or retiring aspects of the solution. The Director works closely with cross-functional partners including BPO, DIG, rebate underwriting, finance, and Intelligence. The Product Management Director also works closely with Sales Support and, on some occasions, with clients directly on upsell opportunities, client escalations, and the socialization of product enhancements and launches. The Director will partner closely with the Clinical Strategists to shape and define the product strategy for future product launches and enhancements. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Set a strategic direction for the Product Management team, including finding ways to work more efficiently, better articulate our products' value props to internal and external stakeholders, increase market saturation, and identify opportunities to enhance or simplify product offerings.

  • Generate innovative ideas and solutions to meet and exceed customer expectations while driving efficiencies and promoting differentiation in the marketplace.

  • Lead role in providing visibility to key stakeholders on the state of the programs and presenting data to many stakeholders to inform future product strategy

  • Collaborate with sales and account management/new sales for finalist support, product education, and organizational alignment. 

  • Primary point of contact to assist RFP team with new sales and renewal opportunities related to product requests.

  • Co-lead client facing escalation support.

  • Oversee client customization requests, weighing optionality for individual cases and potential for broad product updates.

  • Partner with Go-to-Market Sr. Manager to ways continue to simplify or enhance materials to ensure we’re articulating our value prop in the most effective way.

  • Consult with department on issues needing functional expertise or complex product knowledge. 

  • Communicate product needs to cross-functional partners, including marketing needs, training, modeling, and reporting. Holds teams accountable for quick updates and communication to Sales & Account Management to ensure client alignment.

  • Influence stakeholders by articulating the “why” behind changes and driving alignment across diverse groups.

  • Establish and execute internal SOPs and playbooks for the team. Determine content and new core competencies as the department evolves to meet new challenges of the business. 

  • Partner closely with Director of Product Finance on all upsells goals, revenue tracking, and reporting inquiries.

  • Bring a P&L mindset to decisions, balancing customer needs, operational feasibility, and financial performance

IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE A COMBINATION OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of industry experience solving business problems with bachelor’s degree.

  • Product development and management experience (end-to-end).

  • Account management experience

  • Proven track record of driving profitable earnings growth and innovation.

  • Ability to identify, design, recommend, and implement efficient, innovative business solutions to clients’ complex pharmacy benefits challenges.

  • Ability to develop and execute strategic business plans and set direction for teams.
