About the role

About Anthropic

Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.

About the role

Anthropic is seeking an Internal Communications Manager to serve as a dedicated communications partner to our Core Tech organization (the teams building and securing the systems behind Claude, from engineering and infrastructure to security). Your job is to change that by understanding this work, and the people doing it, well enough to tell its story credibly, and to help its leaders communicate with clarity and candor as the company scales.

Responsibilities

Own the internal communications strategy for your portfolio within Core Tech, becoming an expert in the team's work and a trusted member of its leadership team

Serve as a hands-on advisor to executives - help them think through what to say and when, draft communications in their voice, and give them honest counsel, especially in moments when that’s challenging or uncomfortable.

Translate deeply technical work into narratives that land with employees across every function, without losing the substance

Get creative about how you connect people to the
