Responsibilities:

• Backend development;
• Communication with the customer in English: collection of requirements, work report, joint search for solutions to problems;
• Teamwork: participation in the assessment, planning and detailing of tasks, assistance to colleagues, participation in regular retrospectives;
• Involvement in all stages of delivery: code review, optimization, unit testing, continuous integration, acceptance of tasks with the customer, system deployment;
• Discuss alternative implementation or architecture approaches with team members and Team Lead, if there is potential for improvement.

Requirements:

• 5 + years of proven experience in software development
• Senior | Lead level
• Should be able to write code on (from required to desirable): Scala, Java, Python + Bash, SQL, Spark
• Professional knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Batch, Netty (Async IO) tools
• Experience with SQL / NoSQL databases (the most common with us are PostgreSQL, Aerospike, СlickHouse, HBase)
• Intermediate English
• An additional plus will be experience with AWS, Apache Kafka, Serverless, Kubernetes & Docker.
