As a member of the Raytheon Global Security Services leadership team, the Strategic Business Unit (SBU) Security Director is responsible for integrating security within the strategic direction of the assigned SBU, Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS). This position is responsible for developing strategic objectives in shaping the ASDS SBU Leadership Team’s (LT) cognizance of the evolving and classified requirements related to customer capture and program execution.
This position can be located in Tewksbury, MA, McKinney, TX, Tucson, AZ or El Segundo, CA
Eligibility for additional clearances may also be required from the customer.
What You Will Do
- Ensuring awareness of customers’ security expectations and desired outcomes.
- Developing an understanding of the SBU LT’s and their stakeholders’ priorities, goals, and challenges, developing innovative and agile solutions to meet requirements.
- Having a thorough understanding of the USG customers, organizational challenges, business priorities and multiple security classification environments to influence security related business decisions.
- Implementing Security strategy to proposal related processes, policies, systems, procedures, and in the production of compliant deliverables, leveraging their team and best practices.
- Sustainment of compliant security programs and customer satisfaction by driving accountability from program level matrixed individual contributors. Proactively identifies any potential risk inhibiting business execution while simultaneously driving collaborative solutions to ensure speed, agility and compliance for the SBU.
- Successfully executing GSS strategy and tactics, positioning plans to further connect into the customer community to begin, shape and grow customer relationships. Responsible for creating agile solutions to meet security and customer requirements to sustain compliant programs.
- Collaborate with Facilities, GSS’ Cybersecurity, Industrial Security, Operations & Investigations Security and Special Programs leadership teams to maintain the strategic objectives of the SBU and sustain compliant security programs for each classified contract supported.
- Providing guidance and driving collaboration across multiple functions and security classification environments (i.e. DoD/SAP/SCI) to ensure the sustainment of compliant security programs supporting critical captures, long range classified facility planning and classified IT infrastructure.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued TOP SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance (a current investigation is defined as an investigation not older than five years).
- Bachelor’s degree required – Major: Business Management, Security Management, Criminal Justice, or other related field, and a minimum of 14 years prior relevant experience; or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 12 years’ experience
- Experience working with National Industrial Security Program (NISP); the Special Access Programs (SAP) environment and the Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) environment.
- Experience with the NISPOM, JSIG/RMF, ICD-705, and customer security requirements.
- Experience working with internal and external customers.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Strong working knowledge and experience with Microsoft
- Experience in Industrial Security within the Advanced Technology Business Unit
