Pharmacy Technician I - Sterile Compounding - Sorrento Valley

This is a Full Time position, with 8 hour shifts, primarily 6am-2:30pm or 6:30am-3pm. Primarily Monday through Friday, with flexibility for weekends. Located at Scripps Central Pharmacy in Sorrento Valley. This is a limited tenure assignment for 6 months.

The Pharmacy Technician I will be joining the centralized pharmacy department in Sorrento Valley with the primary responsibility in sterile compounding large quantity batches. The team is small, but mighty, working in a closed door pharmacy type of setting and they enjoy a steady workload and schedule. 
 

Experience/Specialized Skills: 

• High school diploma or equivalent. 
  
  Required Certification/Registration:
• California Board of Pharmacy Certification 
  
  Required Education/Course(s)/Training: 
• Certification by National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board preferred. 
• 1 year inpatient experience preferred or hospital externship
