Responsibilities
- Design and implement responsive, performant user interfaces for geospatial visualization and data-intensive applications
- Architect interactive mapping applications using modern geospatial visualization libraries
- Build reusable component libraries and design systems for complex data visualization and map-based interactions
- Optimize front-end performance for rendering large-scale vector and raster datasets in web browsers
- Collaborate with back-end engineers to design efficient APIs for geospatial data retrieval
- Active TS/SCI CI Poly with current Customer eligibility and SBU/SECNet/COE accounts
- DoD 8140 Compliance
- Must be willing to work in SCIF daily or as needed
- 5+ years of professional front-end software engineering experience
- 4+ years of advanced JavaScript/TypeScript development with modern frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular)
- 3+ years of geospatial web development with mapping libraries (Leaflet, OpenLayers, Mapbox GL JS, or CesiumJS)
- 3+ years understanding coordinate systems, projections, and spatial data formats (GeoJSON, KML, vector tiles)
- 3+ years experience with WMS/WMTS services and OGC-compliant APIs
- 3+ years of responsive web design and cross-browser development with expert CSS/SCSS
- 2+ years of data visualization with libraries like D3.js, Chart.js, or Plotly
