We are seeking a candidate with a passion for aerospace to join our team within Compression Systems Engineering Module Center, Product Definition discipline. We are located in East Hartford Connecticut. Compression Systems Engineering Fan/LPC Product Definition work Major rotating parts, Blades, Fairing & Actuation systems.
What You Will Do
- Create, check and release Detail and assembly models, Drawings, Model Based Definition (MBD) using Siemens NX and Teamcenter software.
- Create, check and release Table of Limits to document special assembly instructions containing, fits and clearances, torques, and hardware life limits.
- Manage the release of drawings and related documents using Product Lifecycle Management tools.
- Support technical meetings and assist subject matter experts to create and maintain part family definition and related product data.
- Lead tasks and drive deliverables to meet schedules.
- Provide Design assistance & technical support to various Military Engine programs.
- Ensure accuracy and adherence to Product Definition Standard Processes.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5+ years of prior relevant Product Definition experience OR an Advanced Degree in a related field and 3+ years of prior relevant Product Definition experience.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

- High proficiency with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
- Strong Siemens NX modeling skills

Compression Systems Engineering (CSE)
Compression Systems Engineering is responsible for the design, development, and in service support of all fans low-pressure and high-pressure compressors for commercial and military engine models. CSE is responsible for the identification and maturation of new technologies for these products.
Technical disciplines in CSE include Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, and Product Definition.
Aftermarket and Sustainment Engineering executes both military and commercial repair design and repairs substantiations for engines. We create and improve ASE business and repair development tools. We design, develop, and qualify military repair tooling.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
