About the role

Summary:

The End of Line Test Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our manufacturing processes in Lebanon, Tennessee.

This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving high-power automated test systems that validate charger performance, firmware functionality, safety, and compliance prior to shipment. You will work hands-on in a 3-phase, high-power manufacturing environment and play a key role in ensuring product quality, test reliability, data integrity, and production efficiency.

You’ll play a critical role in delivering reliable, high-performance DC fast chargers that power the transition to electric mobility. This is a hands-on engineering role with direct impact on product quality, manufacturing performance, and scalable EV infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain EOL test methods, fixtures, and automated test equipment
  • Maintain and troubleshoot high-power (3-phase AC / high-voltage DC) test systems
  • Perform firmware loading, testing, and calibration
  • Analyze test results and generate comprehensive reports
  • Ensure test data integrity, traceability, and compliance with company and customer requirements
  • Drive first-pass yield improvements and defect containment at EOL
  • Support root cause analysis of test failures and implement corrective actions
  • Develop and implement process improvements to improve throughput, uptime, and OEE
  • Support production lines, engineering trials, and ramp activities
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Design, and Test & Validation teams
  • Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and technical documentation
  • Promote safe work practices in high-voltage environments

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical, manufacturing, or test engineering
  • Experience working in 3-phase, high-power environments
  • Strong understanding of AC/DC & DC/DC power systems and electrical safety
  • Hands-on troubleshooting experience in industrial or production settings
  • Ability to read and create electrical schematics
  • Experience with high-voltage DC systems (400V–1000V)
  • Experience with automated test equipment (ATE)
  • Experience with Linux scripting (Bash or Python)
  • Experience in EV charging, power electronics, or industrial power systems
  • Knowledge of UL/IEC or other compliance
