Grand Peaks is a community focused healthcare provider offering quality medical, dental, and behavioral health services. We are currently seeking a full-time Dental Biller to join our team. This position is key to ensuring accurate and timely billing operations for our dental department. The Dental Biller will oversee billing for two dental providers and is responsible for submitting claims, processing payments, managing denials, and maintaining aging reports. You’ll work closely with dental staff, insurance companies, and patients to ensure billing accuracy and timely collections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Submit dental insurance claims
• Accurately post insurance and patient payments
• Work denials and resubmit corrected claims
• Monitor accounts receivable and aging reports to minimize outstanding balances
• Communicate with patients and insurance companies to resolve billing issues
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and insurance regulations

Requirements

• 1+ year of dental or medical billing experience (dental preferred)
• Proficient in dental coding and insurance guidelines
• Familiarity with billing software 
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Excellent communication and time-management skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required
