Title:
Senior Data ArchitectKBR is seeking a Senior Data Architect to join our team supporting an advanced development program. In this role, you will architect the program data management framework necessary to maintain technical and programmatic life-cycle data across multiple levels of classification.
Role and Responsibilities:
Ensures the requisite data relationships across and within the government and industry product life-cycle management and digital engineering environments are effectively architected, certified, and establishing a complete, synchronized, and authoritative source for the program’s dynamic technical baseline.
Responsible for ensuring the necessary government access, control, and approvals are maintained over the program’s technical baselines.
Utilizes data modeling and data analytics skills to understand and leverage relationships among various data elements.
Works with the engineering and IT/Cyber personnel to ensure that the program-wide data management framework is certified in accordance with Cyber/IA policies.
Travel (up to 20%) is required for this position.
This position is not eligible for remote work; on-site support is required.
Basic Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or similar related field from an accredited college or university. Master’s degree in a related technical field. Experience cannot be substituted for education.
Experience: Candidate must have at least ten (10) years of experience in computer science, data science, computer engineering, or digital engineering systems design. At least five of those years must demonstrate recent experience in data science, data analytics, or similar fields.
A final DoD Top Secret clearance is required. A current SSBI or Federal Investigative Standard Tier 5 (T5) or Tier 5 Reinvestigation (T5R) within the last 5 years.
Must be able to travel as required.
Desired Experience and Skills:
Experience with big data, artificial intelligence, machine learning, modeling and simulation, and architecting data flows between systems.
Demonstrates great presentation skills. Good oral and written communication skills.
Candidate should have experience working in a dynamic, schedule constrained, and complex security environment.
Contract requirements regarding education and experience will prevail.
