Casual Staff - Beit Medrash Mentor (YU Connects)

Position Responsibilities:
Form relationships - Individualized recruitment & meetings:
- Arrange personal meetings with registrants to best understand their social interests.
- Facilitating match suggestions.
- Follow up with YSLinks registrants from the S. Daniel Abraham alumni.
- Promote relationship building education materials
Document those who have had personal meetings, track activity and success. - Brainstorming meetings (frequency to be determined upon launch) with:
- Mashgichim and Rebbeim at YU
- YUConnects staff
- Young couple ambassadors
- Coach & mentor those who are building relationships. YUConnects will provide supervision, and a listing of professional counselors should further intervention be necessary.
- Bachelor's degree
- Rabbinical ordination preferred
- Familiarity with YU campus community
- Familiarity with YU faculty
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to foster relationships
