SUMMARY

In this role, the Senior Systems Engineer will join the AGI IT Infrastructure team supporting Information Technology applications, systems, and infrastructure. Additionally, the resource will execute technical operational support in terms of system monitoring and remediating vulnerabilities in critical infrastructure systems. This individual is expected to operate at a senior level, reporting to the Manager of Infrastructure (Windows) and will need to be onsite in Exton, PA.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support IT systems (e.g., Duo SSO, Asset Management, Patch Management, Active Directory, IT security systems (SailPoint), and on-prem / cloud infrastructure. Experience with WSUS, PatchMyPC, Connectwise Automate, Microsoft Intune, Nessus Tenable and other patch / vulnerability management toolsets.
• Support of Microsoft 365: Implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Azure AD, Exchange Online, Intune, Defender, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Teams, and other related services.
• Automate tasks through scripting technologies.  Preferred experience using Windows PowerShell and Ansible playbooks for patching Linux. 
• Support execution of Information Technology infrastructure projects to support Business growth and security compliance. Project management of technical operations programs.
• Monitor and remediate issues within infrastructure and systems
• Resolve tickets and escalations from employees. Improve documentation and processes to reduce repetitive tickets
• Support IT infrastructure level 3 support / triage and maintenance where necessary as well as proactive information services health and performance where possible.
• Ensure proper uniformity, documentation, and configuration control of technology platform, processes, and projects.
• Documentation and Training: Create and maintain technical documentation, guidelines, and training materials for the solutions you work on.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 5 years of experience or more in large enterprise and/or cloud operations
• Competent with a proven history working with Windows Desktops (10 / 11) and Servers (2016 and newer)
• Competent with a proven history working with Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DFS, File Services and Print Services.
• Experience with IT security, certificates/ PKI, vulnerability, and patch management.
• Strong knowledge of administering and maintaining Mac and Windows systems at scale
• Strong knowledge of administering Windows Server with some Linux server administration.
• Familiarity or working knowledge working with cloud-based technologies, especially AWS
• Knowledge of automation scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc.)
• Understanding or experience of common networking protocols and services including IP, TCP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP(s)
• Full technology stack understanding for troubleshooting (network, storage, infrastructure (servers), cloud, applications, etc.).
• Able to document work performed for cross pollination and repeatability.
• Bachelor's degree in IS or equivalent.
• Motivated and energetic team player.
• Able to work independently and own tasks to completion.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a United States (US) Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) or Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Security Clearance.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Windows Desktop / Server certification.
• Experience working with Linux (CentOS/RHEL preferred)
• Experience working with network hardware (switches and routers).
• Experience working with RBAC, STIGs and CMMC.
