Walmart is hiring for a Senior Analyst – Sourcing on the Seasonal team!

This role is designed for an individual contributor who is motivated by complex, purposeful challenges and has a keen interest in analytics.  If you have a background in supplier sourcing with a focus on data analytics, and you are looking for a challenging position in a fast-paced, innovative environment, this role could be a perfect fit for you.   

You’ll make an impact by:  

• Supporting sourcing activities and projects according to an aligned supplier matrix.
• Assisting in cost negotiations based on an understanding of component pricing.
• Collecting relevant data to formulate sourcing proposals.
• Scheduling and supporting line reviews to evaluate supplier product capabilities with Merchant and Product Development partners.
• Ensuring supplier quotations are received on a timely basis for appropriate decision making to meet objectives.
• Supporting Merchandise Operations teams with daily operations as needed.
• Partnering with Quality Assurance on problems related to quality.
• Maintaining and updating key performance indicators for suppliers on a regular basis.
• Contributing to relevant business reports and recaps to better understand and manage sourcing activities.
• Driving innovation within our team while ensuring data accuracy and scale.
