We are looking for strong Backend Engineer to help us ship our healthcare product at JoinAva.com. You’ll be working on large scale data processing system, designing scalable schemas, and shipping AI products that touches thousands of clinicians every single day.

About the Role

Kuzushi is reaching a critical growth inflection points. We’re getting ready to 10x our growth over the next three months. You will be tasked with helping us manage that growth - from ensuring our product is enterprise ready, to maintaining low latency, to accelerating our developer velocity through DevEx infrastructure.

We are on a mission to accelerate labor abundance in the Bedrock Economy, and we will do that by building the best engineering team.

What You'll Do

• Build!

• Collaborate on our technical vision. Lead discussions and implementation of multiple complex projects

• Continuously improve our engineering processes, tools, and systems that allow us to scale the code base, productivity, and the team

• Recruit, interview and develop your own interview questions, while fostering the culture of excellence, velocity and humility

• Inspire and mentor less experienced engineers and interns

What You Need

• Have at least 2 years of professional software engineering experience (particularly in an backend engineer or role) or equivalent.

• Can ship code very quickly (as a startup we like to move very fast)

• Have experience with the following skills / stack

  • Typescript

  • Express / NestJS / or Hasura

  • PostgreSQL

  • Python

  • AWS

Nice to Haves

• ML / Big Data / AI Research or Work Experience

• Familiar with Events Driven Architecture

• Have been a startup founder or an early-stage engineer
