Associate CAD Designer

With the Associate CAD Designer, we will grow engineering talent, with those that are passionate for aviation, into world-class engineering team members, through hands-on exposure to rotorcraft electrical and mechanical CAD design activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support engineering staff by working alongside a team of Engineers and CAD Designers to produce detailed design drawings that meet project and drawing standard requirements using SolidWorks, E3 and PDM CAD tools.
• Assist in mock-up efforts associated with new design development.
• Research material and part specifications.
• Coordinate design issues with senior engineering staff.
• Contribute to project milestones on multiple projects.
• Conduct oneself in accordance with Company’s Core Values.
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• AS in CAD Drafting or equivalent Basic CAD proficiency certificate.
• Aware of CAD design and aerospace engineering roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft applications.
• Maintain a good working relationship with all team members, stakeholders and customers.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team-oriented environment.
