The role:

Allied Health Services are excited to offer a new 2-year graduate program and are seeking Occupational Therapists within their first year of qualification. Kick start your career with structured onboarding, discipline specific and interprofessional learning, peer support and mentoring.

You will participate in a well-established and supportive 6 monthly rotational program, learning from senior staff and multi-disciplinary teams as you develop clinical and professional skills across acute, sub-acute and community caseloads.

Details of Appointment

Multiple fixed term, full time or part time, day worker positions working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from February 2025 until January 2027.

*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

• Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or fixed term full time, part time and casual vacancies.

Salary: $71,441 - $107,878 (pro-rata) per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available: 

• Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum

• Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No.2 of 2022

Eligibility:

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:

1. Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Occupational Board of Australia.

2. Registered with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.

The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:
