Job Summary
Serve in a leadership role to support the day-to-day aspects of the Record Management unit operations for all Mass General Brigham (MGB) entities and affiliates and the staff associated with them, including direct reports and individuals assigned in a matrix structure. Works in collaboration with the business owners, stakeholders, user community, and vendors to advance Mass General Brigham HIM strategic goals and initiatives. Support the operational components, including internally developed users applications of the day-to-day management of the unit. Works with management and business owners to identify strategic direction and planning for unit operations, and impact analysis for large projects.The role works collaboratively with the organization’s scanning vendor (Solarity), offsite storage vendors (Access and Iron Mountain), clinicians and practice support staff, and other members of the HIM team to resolve issues that arise and to support the day-to-day operations of the unit.
Qualifications
Education
Associate’s Degree OR High School Diploma with 2 years of healthcare experience required. Degree in HIM, Business, Management, or a related field preferred. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience
Requires 2+ years directly related HIM operation experience or 2+ general supervisory experience.
