POSITION SUMMARY:

CVS Health is seeking an individual with a strategic mindset and strong collaborative and critical thinking skills to play an important role on the Activate Local team within Pharmacy Health Services. In this role, you will engage cross-functionally to lead the labor and incentive strategy in partnership with Product teams and field and store management. You will play a pivotal role in determining the success of alternative service delivery models, such as the Center of Excellence (COE) model by ensuring pharmacists and technicians are given dedicated time off-the-bench to connect patients with pharmacy health services like Comprehensive Medication Reviews and in-home evaluations.

To be successful in this role, you will need to engage and deliver results in a matrixed organization, inspire others around the common goal of improving health outcomes, and be passionate about the expanded role our pharmacy teams can play in improving our patient’s health.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate on the evolution of alternative service delivery models to ensure they continue to meet the needs of product teams, colleagues, and patients

  • Lead labor planning activities for the Health Services alternative service delivery models including:

    • Oversight of labor expense/hours funding, budgeting, scheduling, and utilization,

    • Monitoring of labor utilization including forecasting, and reporting

    • Identification of resources to support the expansion of existing products as well as new product start-up

    • Creation of protocols and alignment with legal, operations, and HR

    • Development of standards for labor management including adjustment of labor hours as necessary

    • Management of communications, expectations, and colleague engagement related to labor for alternative service delivery models

    • Support for timing studies and ongoing validation of labor assumptions

  • Collaborate with product teams to understand their needs and evaluate/adjust capacity and labor hours accordingly

  • Work with labor relations as needed to ensure compliance with labor laws and consideration for union employees/locations

  • Work with DPCs and DLs to ensure appropriate allocation, scheduling, and management of resources to alternative service delivery model expectations

  • Support talent acquisition, training, change management, and field execution/engagement working teams

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify synergies and influence to achieve Activate Local goals within the enterprise

  • Interact with senior leaders regularly to share progress, insights, and path forward recommendations

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in operations or product development roles within the healthcare industry

  • Experience with creating executive-level presentations and messaging utilizing Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams to ensure alignment

  • Adaptability and flexibility to support rapid adjustments to strategy and priorities to meet changing business needs

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills as well as strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA, MPH or related graduate degree

  • Healthcare experience, preferably with exposure to labor allocation and utilization

  • Experience with Microsoft Power Tools including Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting dashboard tools

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$66,330.00 - $145,860.00
