ManTech seeks a highly skilled and knowledgeable Senior Cloud Engineer that is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a hybrid cloud environment that will satisfy the client’s operational mission needs.  This position is located on customer site in Washington D.C.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Develop strategies for cloud-based platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) that will maximize the program’s operations and enhance efficiency using hybrid cloud (AWS, Azure, and Oracle clouds). Translate business needs into long-term cloud architecture solutions.

• Guide cloud development practices to optimize resources, govern cloud spending, and reduce inefficiency and waste in cloud migrations and operations.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and patch virtual switches, etc. in the cloud layer.

• Enable the CI/CD, DevSecOps, low code/no code, and infrastructure as code (IaC) platforms in a cloud environment for the program.

• Lead the design, development, and management of the underlying cloud infrastructure, such as virtual machines, storage, and networking components using hybrid cloud (AWS, Azure, and Oracle clouds).

• Lead engineer to facilitate the program’s development and deployment of cloud-native applications, ensuring optimal performance, scalability and security.

• Ensure NIST compliant security measures and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations in the cloud environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline.

• 15+ years of IT experience with 12+ years of cloud experience.

• 2+ years of experience working in a program using Agile (SAFe, Scrum and Kanban) and DevSecOps methods.

• Possess an AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.

• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS and IaaS and PaaS services to include DevOps, network and security tools and services.

• Experience in automation and server-less solution architecting development.

• Strong cloud migration and data management skills with an emphasis on security.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preferred experience working with Oracle cloud solutions such as Apex.

• Possess Azure solution
