ROLE SUMMARY
The Design & Change Management Lead is responsible for developing, evolving, and implementing Pfizer's workplace design, with a strong emphasis on change management and sustainability.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead a team of design professionals and change management practitioners.
Own and oversee the execution of the workplace Change Management program and Communications Plan.
Develop and implement workplace change management programs to support leadership engagement, layout planning, change readiness assessment, and change impact assessment.
Facilitate understanding of Pfizer’s workplace philosophy and principles to support the adoption of design standards.
Provide guardrails/standards for global design and ways of working to ensure efficient space usage.
Maintain consistency in designs across all projects and provide design guardianship to ensure adherence to Pfizer workplace standards.
Provide guidance, support, and direction to drive the successful execution of workplace design strategies and initiatives.
Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and project managers to support business verticals and enhance the functionality / aesthetics of the workplace.
Continuously assess and analyze the effectiveness of workplace design solutions and make improvements as needed.
Enhance the employee experience by managing change process and minimizing impact on day-to-day work while changes take place.
Integrate sustainability principles into strategies for energy efficiency, waste reduction, eco-friendly materials, and employee wellness.
Develop sustainability reporting materials used to inform the broader business on progress towards sustainability goals.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Psychology or a related field
A minimum of 10 years of experience in delivery change management programs.
A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process.
Experience with and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools including problem solving and root-cause identification skills.
Demonstrated success in implementing innovative workplace designs that improve employee satisfaction and productivity.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent active listening skills.
Ability to establish and maintain strong relationship.
Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
Flexible, adaptable, able to work in ambiguous situations.
Able to work effectively at all levels of an organization. Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others.
Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in design, communications, change management or a related field.
Experience with large-scale, multi-geographic organizational change efforts.
