About the role

Provides efficient, accurate and courteous service for PKIMC patients and residents of the Extended Care Facility.  Provides accurate and timely collection and receiving of specimens for all patients in accordance with medical center and laboratory policies and procedures and Federal/State regulations.

We are hiring for the following Phlebotomist positions in the Clinical Lab Department at Providence Kodiak Island  Medical Center in Anchorage, AK:

Phlebotomist - Full-Time, 1.0 FTE, Day shift, 40 Hours Per Week

Required Qualifications:

  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • Upon hire: National Phlebotomy Technician - National Organization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training Completion of a phlebotomy accredited program.
  • 1 year Phlebotomy experience.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
