This is a role well suited for a highly motivated student looking to build their skill set and gain hands-on experience. As a Global Communications Intern, you will be responsible for:

• Support the team in writing and editing news articles and feature stories for internal media channels.

• Develop content for internal social media.

• Assist with PowerPoint presentations.

• Generate ideas for internal videos and support their production.

• Manage the editorial calendar.

• Distribute content through the SharePoint intranet site and company mass mail app.

• Work with team to plan and organize onsite office events.

• Develop ideas and content for employee and leader LinkedIn posts.

This position may suit you best if you’re familiar with the following and would like to develop your skills with Siemens Healthineers:

• You have experience in writing for and/or producing content for multi-media communications, such as websites, social media, blogs, videos, etc.

• You’re interested in and have online media experience.

• You can be onsite at the Siemens Healthineers Tarrytown, NY, office at least 2-3 days a week.

Required skills to have for the success of this role:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program, majoring in communications, journalism, or related program. (rising senior preferred)

• Minimum 3.0 GPA (preferred)

• Permanent work authorization in the U.S. is required

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.00 hourly; however, base pay offered may vary depending on education, skills, and experience. Siemens Healthineers offers interns paid time off.

The base pay range for this position is:

$49,920 - $71,386

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
